We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2023, at the age of 89, Jo Ann Byers Ridings (Shelby, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Benjamin Byers and Gertie Bivins Byers; her husband Jack Andrew Ridings, Sr.; her son Jack Andrew Ridings, Jr.; and her great grandchild Hunter Austin Ridings.
She is survived by: her sons, Alan Ridings (Patti), Gene Ridings (Teressa), Jody Ridings (Diedra), David Ridings and Michael Ridings (Liane); and her sister-in-law Nancy Ridings. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to VIA Health Partners founded as Hospice Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.
