He is survived by: his wife Nancy Daves Gettys; his children, James Gettys of Shelby, Lisa Gold (Jimmy) of Earl and Amy Gettys of Shelby; his sister Meredith Queen of Shelby; his grandchildren, Matt Gold (Angie), Jordan Gold, Jesse Gettys, Dakota Roberson, Blake Childers, Gracie Gettys, Jaxzon Sanders and Camden Gettys; and his great grandchildren, Mason, CJ and Henry.
