She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis "Joe" Strickland and Evelyn Elliott Strickland; and her husband Malcolm "Gene" Wilson. She is survived by: her daughter Joy Ellis (Mike) of Shelby, NC; her grandchildren, Jordan Ellis (Anne-Marie) of Charlotte, NC and Lyndsey Ellis; and her great grandchildren, Madison Ellis, Braylyn, Brooklyn, Breanna Hoyle and Finn Ellis.
