He is survived by: his wife Yazmin McGinnis; his children, Daria, Elena, Larissa Coles (Jonathan) and Erek McGinnis (Emily); his grandchildren, Taylor, Samantha Coles, Hunter and Mason McGinnis; and his sisters, Deborah Rogers (Chris) and Amelia McGinnis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in his honor to Yazmin McGinnis for the children's college scholarship fund.
