It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Ledford of Shelby, North Carolina, who passed away on July 29, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bynum Ledford and Mildred Patterson Ledford; and his brother Ben Ledford. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Dover Ledford; his children, Terry Dover Ledford (Michelle) and Carol Ann Cornatzer (Jeff); his sister Sue Lutz; his grandchildren, Cameron Bradshaw (Ashley), Pam Bumgardner (CJ), Angie Dorsey (Randy), Anna Cornatzer, Jacob Cornatzer, Jason Cornatzer and Amber Grace Cornatzer; and his great grandchildren, Abigail Dorsey, Noah Dorsey and Jackson Edwards.
