He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Foster and Bernice Champion Foster; his son Michael Foster; and his sister Mary Helen Foster Metcalf of Black Mountain, NC.. He is survived by: his wife Donna Jewell Foster; his children, Tina Melton (Chad) of Boiling Springs, NC, Lisa McCracken (Mitch) of Shelby and Jeffrey Foster of Shelby; his grandchildren, Michael Melton, Matthew Melton, Ryan McCracken and Evin McCracken; and his brother Jimmy Foster (Linda) of Sandy Mush.
