She was predeceased by: her parents, Anderson Wease and Rixie Greene Wease; her husband William "Gabby" Tommy Hayes Jr.; her daughter Dianne Patterson; and her brothers, Leroy, Clyde and Marvin Wease.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Huffstetler (Mike), Larry Hayes (Rita) of Shelby and Scott Hayes (Lisa) of Shelby; her grandchildren, Shannon Hayes, Chris Hayes, Victoria Hayes, Jeremy Hayes, Sterling Cole, Tommy Huffstetler, Shane Huffstetler and Amber Allen; and her great grandchildren, Ethan, Mackenzie, Riley, Elizabeth, Oakland, Brantley, Lilly Mae, Lucus, Hannah, Logan, Monica, Cody, Levi and Phyllis.
Memorials may be made to Ledford Grove Baptist Church.
