She is survived by: her children, Deborah Davis Sprouse (Kellan) of Waynesville, NC, Steven Davis (Tracy) of Ellenboro, NC, Carolyn Talley (Joe) of Shelby, NC and Thomas Davis (Danya) of Ellenboro, NC; her grandchildren, Diana Elliott (Dennis) of Lawndale, NC and Paul Davis of Ellenboro, NC; her great grandchildren, Hannah, Jacob and Samuel; and her sister Marilyn Hester of Shelby, NC..

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Council on Aging & Senior Center, 100 T R Harris Drive, Shelby NC 28150.

“I grew up on the same road as Jeanette. Daddy always took things to be welded to Loyd’s garage. When I burned my leg on a bathroom heater Jeanette dressed my burns several times until they healed. She did an excellent and caring job for me when I was about 6 years old. I still remember how kind she was. I am sorry for your loss. Marsha Brooks Putnam”
