She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvie Ernest Bailey and Nelle Harris Bailey; her husband William "Bill" Lee Shaw; her brothers, Jimmie Bailey and Larry Bailey; and her grandson Christopher Chad Heavner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Angela Jayne Harris of Shelby and Crystal Harris Boone (Steve) of Kings Mountain; and her granddaughter Kristen Putnam Hutton (Thomas) of Shelby.
