He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola Johnson and James Theodore Upton; and his sister Norma Frady (Mike Frady). He is survived by: his wife Kaye Allen Upton; his children, Angela McKee (Steve) and Kelly Upton (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Mariah Hardin (Logan), Marcus McKee, Austin McKee (Taylor Canipe), Carter Vincent (Abby Nyberg) and Spencer Upton; and his great grandchild Avery Hardin.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 2629 Cleveland Ave, Grover, NC 28073.
