He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sisk and Maude Drewery Sisk; his wife Jacquelyn Bridges Sisk; and his siblings, Margie Lemmons, Sarah Elam, Shirley Sisk and Ronald Sisk.
He is survived by: his children, James David Sisk Jr. of Shelby, NC and Tammy Ledbetter (Clark) of Shelby, NC; his grandchildren, Olivia (T. J.), Luke, Madison, Zachary and Cade; and his siblings, Carolyn Morrow (Archie) of Shelby, NC, Janet Clontz (Jerry) of Shelby, NC, Vickie Morrison (Steve) of Cedar Point, NC and Danny Sisk (Sharon) of Leland, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
