James Eddie Whisnant Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2024 we had to say goodbye to James Eddie Whisnant of Shelby, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Ivey Whisnant and Veva C. Spangler Whisnant; his wife Catherine Elizabeth Whisnant; and his brother Charles "Bud" Whisnant. He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Whisnant (Mary), Debra Vanhoy (John), Wendy Whisnant and Jake Whisnant (Beverly). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
