He was predeceased by: his grandson Hudson Stock. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Barnette; his daughter Sherry Grenier (Chris) of Shelby, NC; his grandchildren, Tyler, Victoria and Matthew; his son Roger Barnette (Christina) of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Nathan, Thomas and Kate; his daughter Paige Stock (Alex) of Concord, NC; and his grandchildren, Laney and Finley. He is also survived by three children and eight grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Cleveland County Habitat for Humanity or Aldersgate United Methodist Church of Shelby, NC.
