He was predeceased by: his father Brian Long; and his grandfather Hugh Long. He is survived by: his mother Lee Ann Long; his grandparents, Joy Long, Ken and Ann White; and his aunts and uncles, Dale, Donna Long, Vlynda and David Moore.
