He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Lane and Carrie Hutchins Lane; his wife Mildred Nance Lane; and his brothers, Paul, Tite and Jimmy Lane.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Lane of Shelby, Scott Lane of Lawndale, Teresa Millwood (Steve) of Statesville and Sherry Sutton (Greg) of Shelby; and his brother Bobby Lane (Barbara Sue) of Shelby. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
