She was predeceased by: her parents, Evangelous Henry Watts and Doris Mae Crowder Watts. She is survived by: her husband Ronald Stephen Smith; and her children, Stephen Smith (Annette), Chris Smith (Tosha) and Teresa Harp (Brent) of Shelby. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Memorials may be made to Double Shoals Baptist Church, 318 Old Mill Road, Shelby, NC 28150.
