He was predeceased by: his parents, George Wilson and Virginia Blanton Wilson; and his siblings, Albert, Woodrow, George Jr., Coleman Wilson and Barbara Jo Hardin.
He is survived by: his wife Diana "Skip" Stroup Wilson; his daughters, Kimberly Dawn Krohn (Dennis) of Shorewood, IL and Kristie Lynn Hanley (Kevyn) of Cherryville; his grandchildren, Kevyn Hanley (Ashley) of Bostic, Jackie Krohn (Alex Keener) of Seattle, WA and Hayley Krohn of Shorewood, IL; his great grandchild Kevyn Hanley of Bostic; and his sisters, Betty Jean Overcash of Maiden, Katie Sue Bell of Shelby and Janet Enloe of Seaford, DE. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Operation Smile or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
