He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan Nelson Edwards Sr. and Lavon Meacham Edwards; his wife Margaret Ann Hamrick Edwards; and his brother Eddie Edwards. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Edwards (Sandy) of Cherryville, NC, Bryan Edwards (Amy) of Raleigh, NC and Jennifer Henderson (Logan) of Mooresville, NC; his grandchildren, Rachel Edwards, Elizabeth Edwards, Julia Edwards, Clara Edwards, Hannah Joy Edwards, Lila Henderson, Mallory Henderson and Kendra Henderson; and his sister Peggy E. Baker (Rick) of Shelby, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
