He was predeceased by: his parents, Loranza R. Russell and Margaret Mazel Owenby Russell; and his wife Bertie Craig Russell. He is survived by: his children, Johnny Russell of Marion, Linda Russell of Marion, Susan Russell of Marion, Daniel Russell (Verna) of Marion, Karen Belton (Marty) of Kings Mountain and Roseanna Russell of Marion; his brother Joe Russell (Betty) of Hendersonville; and his close friend Evelyn Mace.
