He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Chambers and Anne Halak Chambers. He is survived by: his wife Carol Walker Chambers; his children, Jessica Melton (Everett) of Shelby, NC and Douglas Chambers (Vivian) of Savannah, GA; his grandchildren, Joshua Melton, Eric Melton, Zackary Melton, Lilyana Melton and Levi Chambers; his sisters, Kathy Singletary (Richard) of Tallahassee, FL and Laurie Walker (Steve) of St. Peters, MO; his son Eric Chambers; his granddaughter Isabella Melton; and his sister Joyce Stevens. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
