It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Bebee (Shelby, North Carolina), who passed away on February 24, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wright and Mae Thornhill; her stepfather John Thornhill; her children, Leon Bebee and Carol Bebee Foster; her grandson Curtis Bebee; and her sisters, Mary Elizabeth Bebee, Sarah Cauthon and Claudia Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Sloan of Shelby, Paulette McGee (Earl) of Pittsburgh, PA, Willie Bebee (Juanita) of Philadelphia, PA, Robert Bebee of Shelby and Beverly Jones. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
