He was predeceased by: his parents, William Standridge and Hattie Howington Standridge; his son William "Billy" Gerald Standridge; and his siblings, Quillen Standridge, Hattie Tietje, Lourene Roberts, Luriene Brocato, Louise Webber and Geneva Standridge.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Standridge; his son Bobby Standridge (Vicki) of Little River, SC; his stepchildren, Tara Burdett (James) of Earl, NC and Michael Wright Jr. (Jaclyn) of Grover, NC; and his friend Jerry Ramsey. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
