He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Allen and Sue Yates; his stepfather William Bud Yates; his children, Gerald Eugene Allen, Jr. and Laura Ann Thomas; his brother Kenneth Allen; and his grandchildren, Dustin Allen McDaniel and Sydni Stockton.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Emory Allen; his daughters, Connie McDaniel (Jeff) of Ellenboro and Angie Stockton (Tommy) of Lattimore; his sister Patsy Wease of Grover; his grandchildren, Ashley Jacobus, Brittany Thomas, Shelly George and Josh Stockton; and his cousin Ricky Allen. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Services & Crematory (2518 W Dixon Blvd, Shelby, NC 28150). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
