She was predeceased by: her parents, Dessie Dayberry Runyans and Lawrence Runyans; and her siblings, Nellie Runyans Monsees, Lenna Runyans Shaw, Jewel Runyans, Harold Runyans and Robert Runyans.
She is survived by: her husband Dean Champion; her son Tim Champion (Kathryn); and her grandchildren, Julie Champion (Jacob Wojciechowski), Paul Champion and Will Champion (Chi).
