Gay Anthony Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gay Anthony (Shelby, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on December 19, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hillard McSwain and Genelia Wright McSwain; and her brother Carroll McSwain. She is survived by: her husband Keith Anthony; her children, Greg Anthony (Sherry) of Kings Mountain, Jena Grigg of Kings Mountain and Katie Holbrooks (Kevin) of Cherryville; her brothers, Harold McSwain (Judy) of Shelby and Mike McSwain (Carol) of Fallston; her grandchildren, Trey Grigg (Erin), Austin Anthony (Ashlea Hodge Anthony), Tyler Grigg, Ashlee Anthony and Tucker Holbrooks; and her great grandchild Waylon Grigg. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
