She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Hamrick and Edna Cornwell Hamrick; and her brother Preston Hamrick. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Guffey; her sons, Russell Z. Guffey (Sheila) of Spartanburg and Douglas B. Guffey (Dana) of Shelby; her sister Meredith Pruet of Shelby; her grandsons, Adam R. Guffey, Zane Guffey and Matthew Guffey; her great grandchildren, Tai Guffey, Emily Louise Guffey, William R. Guffey, Logan Guffey and Amelia Guffey; and her cousins, Tim Ware (Wanda) and Anne C. Ware.
