It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Faye Spangler of Shelby, North Carolina, who passed away on March 23, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Faye Spangler to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Sparks and Addie Crotts Sparks; her husband Carl M. Spangler, Jr.; her son Carl M. "Chuck" Spangler, III; and her siblings, Gerald Sparks, Fidelia Edney and Amy Spangler.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Duncan (Tom), Angela Anthis (Steve) and Michael Spangler (Karen); her daughter-in-law Sabrina Spanger; and her grandchildren, Ben, Sam Duncan (Maddie), Bret, Carson, Addie Anthis, Matthew, Nathan, Elise, Kate Spangler, Chip, Luke (Taylor) and John-Michael Spangler. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Faye's honor to Double Shoals Baptist Church 318 Old Mill Rd, Shelby, NC 28150.
