He was predeceased by: his parents, Fergus and Mabel Lane; and his sister Joan Davis. He is survived by: his wife Shelby; and his sons, Keith (Shelly) of Banner Elk and Preston of Greensboro. He is also survived by four grandsons, five great grandchildren, and two nephews.
