He was predeceased by: his parents, Ennis A. Johnson and Mattie Wilson Johnson; and his wife Gaynell West Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Kloosterman of Shelby and Mark Johnson (Stephanie) of Mt. Holly; his sister Amelia House (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Scott Kloosterman, Jennifer Wilson, Amy Shull and Brandon Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Zack Kloosterman, Hunter Stroup, Jordyn Stoup and Reagan Shull.
