Elizabeth Lowery Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 20, 2023, at the age of 89, Elizabeth Lowery of Shelby, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elizabeth Lowery to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ervin Ellison and Bertha Mae Stroup Ellison; her siblings, Nellie Mae Thrift, Viola M. Kilgore, Charlie Melvin Ellison, James Edward Ellison and Ruth Janet Cook; her stepdaughters, Janey Lou Lowery and Linda Lee Lowery; her son Alvin Thomas Grant; her grandson Preston Emery Grant; and her former husband James Thomas Grant.
She is survived by: her siblings, Thomas Martin Ellison, Alvin Luther Ellison, Doyle Eugene Ellison (Martha) and Edith Ellison Goforth; her stepchildren, Junior Lowery (Tracy), Mary (Frank Moody), Billy Lowery (Irene), Henry Smith (Carolyn), Donald Smith (Sherry) and Ronald Smith; and her son Terry Edmonson. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren.
