Edward Clay Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Clay (Shelby, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 9, 2025 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edward Clay to pay them a last tribute.
As Edward departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Edward. Though Edward may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his parents, James Clay and Estalene Clay (Binder); his wife Anita Jean Gregory; his daughter Andra Williams (Doug); his grandchildren, Jaleigha Clark and Jamaal Clark; his son Gregory Clay; and his siblings, Jeff Clay (Paula) and Melissa McMichael. He is also survived by children/grandchild.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Elizabeth Baptist Church (301 N Post Rd, Shelby, NC 28150).
