She was predeceased by: her father Lee Stevenson Martin; her husband Sam Tally Overcash; and her siblings, Pauline Martin Childers of Stony Point, Ruby Goforth of Statesville, Effie Lee Abernathy of Stony Point, Grady Martin of Raleigh and Gordon Martin of Taylorsville.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Stephen Overcash and Elizabeth Overcash Morrow (John).
