We are sad to announce that on June 7, 2022, at the age of 80, Dorothy Canipe (Shelby, North Carolina), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gibson and Betty Betz Gibson; and her husband Norris Canipe. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Head (Rocky) of Shelby, Tamera McFarland of Surfside, SC, Pam Lingerfelt (Jason) of Shelby and Eddie Canipe of Belwood; and her siblings, Jim Gibson (Linda) and Helen. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
