It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorcas T. Ledford of Shelby, North Carolina, who passed away on October 23, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Yates Webb Tesseneer, Sr. and Susie Mae Pruett Tesseneer; and her brothers, Coleman Tesseneer and Bright Carroll. She is survived by: her children, David Ledford (Betty) of Dirty Ankle and Angie Andleton (Greg) of Roanoke Rapids; her siblings, Yates W. Tesseneer, Jr. of Lattimore, Bessie White of Shelby, Patsy Yarbro of Kings Mountain and Susan Tesseneer of Casar; her grandchildren, Brittany Nalley, Chris Ledford, Stephanie Lowe, Taylor Ledford, Houston Ledford and Ethan Mosteller; and her great grandchildren, Isabella, Aiden and Sophia.
