He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Ross and Irene McNeely Ross; his siblings, Farrell Ross and Jackie Ross Pierce; and his mother-in-law Lunette Cook.
He is survived by: his significant other Sue Cook Ross; his children, Darla Ross Wyatt (Stan), David Ross, Patty Ross Edmondson (Rob), Lisl Elliott-Wright and Jason Elliott (Kiesha); his son-in-law Randy Wright; his caregivers, Sarah Dyson, DJ Elliott and Joey Wright; his sisters, Shirley Causby (Richard), Joyce Warren (Roy) and Cathy Dick; his father-in-law Carl Cook; and his brothers-in-law, Dewey Cook, Russell Cook and Lee Cook. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
