He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Bridges McCurry; his children, Gene McCurry (Tamara) and Ann Thackerson (Bobby); his grandchildren, Josh Thackerson (Mandy), Katie Turner (Austin), Courtney McCurry and Cody McCurry (Emily); his great grandchildren, Ally, Brody, Colby Thackerson, Micah and Millie Turner; and his sisters, Jo Hester and Jane Harris.
