He was predeceased by: his parents, Verne Greene and Nelle Greene; and his siblings, Richard, Sam, Bennie and Katherine.
He is survived by: his wife Edna M. Greene; his daughter Angie Greene of Shelby; his granddaughters, Casey Greene of Shelby and Emma Greene of Shelby; and his great grandchild McKinley Swofford of Shelby.
