She is survived by: her siblings, Janice Hamilton of Shelby, NC, Alice Littlejohn of Shelby, NC and Leon Tate of Shelby, NC; her aunts, Betty Hogue of Cleveland, OH, Louise Montgomery of Philadelphia, PA and Edna Johnson of Shelby, NC; her uncle Freeman Tate, Jr. of Shelby, NC.; and her close friends, Tammy Cunningham and Emily Blake. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
