He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Mae Champion (Pryor) and James Thomas Champion; and his spouse Gay Champion. He is survived by: his son Tim Champion (Kathryn); his grandchildren, Julie Champion (Jacob Wojciechowski), Paul Champion (Bailey Alvarado) and Will Champion (Chi); his great grandchild Sam; and his caregiver Cindy Champion. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
