He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene "Gene" Gibson and Barbara Worrell Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Terrie Lemons Gibson; his sons, Matthew David Gibson (Leah) of Shelby, NC and Adam Lynn Gibson (Heather) of Pinehurst, NC; his grandchildren, Kessa Gibson, Noah Gibson, Ellie Gibson and Harper Gibson; and his siblings, Steve Gibson of Mauldin, SC and Joan Gibson of Shelby, NC. He is also survived by niece and nephew and his faithful canine companion.
