He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Gordon and Ann Gordon (McGee); and his cousin Nancy Clayton. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Gordon (Hulsey); his children, Amy Eichholz (Jim) of Milwaukee, WI and Bryan Gordon (Sara) of Gastonia, NC; his brothers, Jeff Gordon (Marcille) and Randy Gordon of Dickson, TN.; and his grandchildren, Wyatt Eichholz of Milwaukee, WI, Ben Eichholz of Annapolis, MD, Bethany Eichholz of Rhinelander, WI, Annelise Eichholz of Milwaukee, WI and Weldon Gordon of Gastonia, NC..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home (106 Cherryville Rd, Shelby, NC 28150). The military honors will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritan's Purse Ministries.
