She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Edwards and Connie Currie Edwards. She is survived by: her children, Steven Thompson (Stephanie) of Shelby, NC, Jamie Thompson (Connie) of Shelby, NC, Sherry Thompson of Shelby, NC and Wesley Thompson of Shelby, NC; her siblings, Annette Davis (Glenn) of Lenoir, NC, Clarence Edwards (Cathy) of Lawndale, NC, Tim Edwards (Sherry) of Shelby, NC and Keith Edwards (Cindy) of Shelby, NC; and her pet Bella. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
