He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Shoemaker and Georgie Smith Shoemaker. He is survived by: his wife Sherrill McGrath Shoemaker; his children, Deborah Riddle (Joel) of Charlotte, Dina Arney (Stephen) of Ottowa, KS and Daniel Shoemaker of Shelby; and his siblings, Wanda Shoemaker and Kenny Shoemaker (Marta). He is also survived by six grandchildren.
