With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dan Packard of Shelby, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on October 12, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Thurman and Dessie Daves Packard. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine "Jerri" Packard; his daughter Donna Boyes Hamrick (Robert); his grandsons, Mason Hamrick, Trey Beaty (Lauren), Austin Hamrick (Neisa) and Matt Hamrick; his great grandchildren, LeAnn, Maverick, Ryker Hamrick and Raeleigh Beaty; and his goddaughter Mandy Dellinger.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his memory to Eastside Baptist Church: 1165 Wyke Rd. Shelby, 28150.
