He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Herron and Annie Mae Herron; and his wife Judy Herron. He is survived by: his children, John Herron (Cliff) of Greenville, Liberty Herron (Jennifer Gregory) of Shelby and Robin Short (Bobby) of York, SC; his siblings, Annette Costner, Joanne Ellis and Charlie Herron; and his grandchildren, Russel Gregory, Jonathan Short and Jennifer Williams.
