She is survived by: her children, Aleeta Adkins (Christopher) of Shelby, NC, Cecil Ledford Jr. (Nina Snelgrove) of Shelby, NC and Sharon Mellon (Darrell) of Lattimore, NC; her daughter-in-law Donna Ledford of Shelby, NC; her grandchildren, Kyle Ledford of Boiling Springs, NC, Shane Adkins (Hayley) of Ellenboro, NC, Taylor Laws of Myrtle Beach, SC, Brandi Goode (Andy) of Boiling Springs, NC, Benjamin Mellon of Shelby, NC and Ashburn Mellon of Shelby, NC; her great grandchildren, Savannah Ledford, Jesse Scruggs, Jake Goode and Corban Adkins; and her brother Edward Beason (Sybil) of Mooresboro, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
