He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Jenkins and Sallie Newsome Jenkins; his wife Fannie Jenkins; and his granddaughter Christie Stewart. He is survived by: his daughters, Rita Stewart (Steve) of Shelby, Susan Miller (Tim) of Rocky Mount and Donna Patterson (Kyle) of Rocky Mount; his sister Margie Isles of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Sharon Andrews of Shelby, Cameron of Rocky Mount, Joshua of Rocky Mount, Ben of Rocky Mount and Sam Patterson of Rocky Mount; and his great grandchildren, William, Bethany Andrews and Layton Patterson.
