It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cleatus Hunsinger (Shelby, North Carolina), who passed away on February 16, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Wilbert and Altas Burnett Hunsinger; his former wife Louise Thomas Hunsinger; and his siblings, Carolyn Pennington, Dr. Charles Hunsinger and Cecil Hunsinger.
He is survived by: his wife Ina Hunsinger; his sons, Jeff and John Hunsinger of Shelby; his stepchildren, Dean Wright (Susan) of Raleigh, Ricky Wright (Anne) of Columbia, SC and Wendy Rogers of Greensboro; and his grandchildren, Matthew Hunsinger, Lindsay Hendrix, Evan Wright, Connor Rogers, Mason Rogers, Kendall Rogers, Morgan Wright and Trenle Wright.
