He is survived by: his wife Barbara Tesseneer Cogdell; his children, Krusher Lee Cogdell of Shelby, NC and Susan Diane Cogdell Labat of Shelby, NC; his grandchildren, Brittany Cline (Ryan Deviney) of Casar, NC and Trevor Labat of Boiling Springs, NC; his great grandchild Archer Deviney; and his siblings, Betty Mellon of Casar, NC, Aileen Cogdell of Casar, NC, Bobby Dean Cogdell (Robin) of Shelby, NC, Brenda Smith (Larry) of Shelby, NC, David Cogdell (Sherry) of Casar, NC and Clifford Allen Cogdell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
