He was predeceased by: his grandparents, W. S., Evelyn Davis, Drew and Helen Hawkins; and his son Michael Christopher Hawkins.
He is survived by: his parents, Ron Hawkins and Hilda Hawkins; his daughter Amber Nicole Hawkins; his sister Tina Hawkins Wesson (Joe); and his nieces and nephews, Josie, Jenny Wesson, Jacob of Shelby, Luke of Shelby and Jonah Wesson of Shelby.
It is requested that those in attendance wear face mask coverings and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Double Springs Baptist Church Choir, 1130 Double Springs Church Rd, Shelby NC 28150.
